Theme: 

Slice, of life, a haunting idea of suburban life deformed and reformed from unexpected to expected. We all have the version of ourselves that everyone sees and then the one we really know. Slice! Exposed multiple sides of humanity through the lens of the suburbs. 

Concept Summary:

Slice offers a deconstructed perspective on suburban life. Using literal slices of suburban scenes—a half-house, an ultra-low car, and cut-off street lamps—the show invites audiences to look deeper into the nuanced moments of suburban experience. Each movement explores a different facet of suburban life, from the quiet introspection of solitary walks, the impending gloom during the night, to the communal energy of neighborhood gatherings.

Vestige

Theme:

Vestige tells a story of how the marks we leave, whether through struggle or celebration, persist and continue to influence the world around us, creating an abstract, thoughtful reflection on the nature of legacy and memory.

Concept Summary:

This show explores the concept of the traces we leave behind, focusing on how moments, actions, and influences linger and shape the world long after we are gone. Each piece represents a different aspect of what remains and how those remnants continue to affect the future.

Sol Jam

Concept: 

"Sol Jam" transforms the field into a living art installation inspired by Sol LeWitt's revolutionary approach to conceptual art. The show fuses his emphasis on structured systems with the freedom of creative expression, culminating in a performance that blurs the lines between music, art, and motion.

Light Echoes

Concept: 

Inspired by the work of James Turrell, Light Echoes explores the relationship between light, perception, and space. Turrell’s installations immerse viewers in fields of color and shifting depth, challenging their understanding of reality. This show translates his art into sound and movement, using music that reflects the stillness, tension, and transformation found in his work. Each movement represents a different Turrell installation, creating an experience where light and sound merge, dissolving boundaries between the tangible and the infinite.

Gilded Cage

Concept Overview:

At the heart of Gilded Cage is the tension between structure and freedom, the ornate and the fragile. Massive chandeliers hang above, symbols of opulence and grandeur—but also of confinement, their intricate crystal frameworks restricting the light within. The show explores the journey of breaking free from this dazzling yet rigid world, transitioning from control to release, from shadows to illumination.
